The aim of the project is to raise awareness among young people about the environmental impact of plastic waste, to promote responsible plastic consumption and sustainable recycling, and to foster a creative approach to environmental issues through creative processes using recycled plastics and the Storytelling method.
The project promotes responsibility and environmental awareness among young people, provides practical skills and fosters creativity, contributing to a more sustainable future.
Main objectives:
1. Raise young people's awareness of the impact of plastic pollution on the environment, human health and the world's oceans.
2. Encourage young people to explore the possibilities of recycling plastic and to develop creative approaches to sustainable consumption.
3. Organise hands-on educational activities to give young people practical skills in recycling plastic by making products (e.g. bookmarks) from recycled plastic.
4. Develop young people's ability to effectively communicate and discuss environmental issues using the Storytelling approach.
The project is funded by Šiauliai City Municipality.
