BRIDGE TO LEADERSHIP

Project: Bridge to Leadership (11-416-K-0003)
Žmogiškųjų išteklių stebėsenos ir plėtros biuras, together with partner Edukaciniai projektai, is implementing the project “Bridge to Leadership.”
Project Aim
The project aims to reduce youth unemployment by improving professional readiness, promoting social inclusion, and ensuring access to innovative non-formal learning tools and labour market support for all young people, regardless of their social background.
Project Activities
I. Community-driven activities to reduce social exclusion (45 participants):
Young people will receive information on social services, healthcare, and other relevant topics. Support will be provided to help them navigate public institutions and access services. The project’s social worker will empower young people to obtain social services and develop independence and communication skills.
II. Initiatives to improve employability for unemployed and economically inactive individuals (45 participants):
Members of the target group will participate in training programs to acquire in-demand skills such as digital marketing, artificial intelligence applications, communication, critical thinking, entrepreneurship, time management, conflict resolution, and more. The project will offer personalised consultations to help participants create career plans, prepare for job interviews, and develop CVs. Additionally, young people will have opportunities for practical work experiences through job-shadowing activities and voluntary tasks that provide real-world work exposure.
III. Promoting and organising volunteer activities, and volunteer training (10 participants):
During project activities, a project specialist will coordinate and support a team of volunteers who contribute to organising workshops, experiential learning sessions, and other project events. Volunteers will receive training and guidance to prepare them for meaningful engagement.
Target Group
45 socially excluded young people aged 16–29, including youth from foster homes, young people with disabilities, individuals from vulnerable families, and those facing other social challenges.
Funding
The project is co-financed by the European Union.
