Project Coordinator – VšĮ Edukaciniai projektai
Project goal:
To create a space where seniors can meet regularly, engage in meaningful activities, build connections, and strengthen their social engagement and emotional well-being.
Objectives:

Organize regular community activities (art workshops, literary evenings, culinary classes, wellness sessions) that promote social activity among seniors and reduce loneliness.

Encourage seniors to share their favorite activities and skills with others, fostering a sense of community and peer learning.

Conduct educational sessions on emotional well-being, communication skills, and healthy living to enhance seniors’ emotional stability and self-esteem.

Develop a sustainable “social café” concept to ensure the continuity of activities after the project ends, encouraging seniors’ active involvement in community life.
Quantitative results:

At least 30 unique participants will take part in the project’s activities.

Approximately 160 total senior attendances will be recorded across all activities.

At least 20 thematic sessions will be held, covering art, literature, culinary, and wellness topics.
Qualitative results:

Participants will feel less lonely and more engaged in community life.

Seniors’ emotional well-being and social skills will improve, offering them opportunities for active interaction and experience-sharing with peers.

A long-term community initiative will be established, motivating seniors to regularly participate in social events and maintain peer connections.

Seniors’ independence will be fostered, empowering them to organize activities around their interests and share their knowledge with others.

The project will help strengthen community ties and reduce seniors’ social exclusion, offering them opportunities for active and meaningful engagement.
