Goals:

 

Allow young people to:

• Access clear and reliable civic information presented in youth-led formats

• develop critical media literacy,helping them to navigate misinformation and from informed opinions

• build democratic participation skills through structured dialogues,civic cafés,interactive theatre and creative expression

• gain confidence in expressing views publicity and discussing sensitive or complex issues

• connect with peers across Europe, broadening their understanding of democracy, identify and community

• contribute directly to EU Youth Dialogue processes preparing civic insights and youth messages for European - level structures

• take up leadership roles as youth ambassadors, facilitators of media creators

 

Allow older participants to:

• engage in respectful dialogue with youth on sustainability, democracy, rights and values

• share knowledge and life experience,strengthening social cohesion

• improve digital communication skills through participation in hybrid or online sessions

• develop greater understanding of youth  perspectives and challenges

 

 

Results:

 

By the end of 2026, GENLINK will have contributed to:

• stronger civic readiness among young people to participate in democratic life

• greater media literacy and ability to navigate misinformation

• stronger social cohesion through intergenerational cooperation

• More inclusive participation environments for rural and disadvantaged youth

• A more resilient youth civil society better connected across Europe

• Enriched contributions to EU Youth Dialogue processes grounded in grassroots youth perspectives

• Improved organisational capacity within EDUPRO and partner organizations
